Preparing for Your Xeomin Appointment

• Avoid aspirin and certain dietary supplements. These can increase your risk of bleeding or bruising.
• Avoid using products containing alpha hydroxy acid, tretinoin (Retin-A), glycolic acid, retinols, and retinoids for at least 3 days before your appointment.
• If possible, come to your appointment with a freshly washed face. Avoid putting on any makeup or products that morning, or clean them off before you arrive.

Aftercare Steps

• For the first 4 hours after your appointment, avoid lying down and keep your head upright.
• Also, for the next 4 hours, don’t do any activities that would cause facial flushing, like using a hot tub, standing out in the heat, doing an intense workout, etc.
• Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area for at least 4 hours after your treatment to prevent unwanted migration.

How Xeomin Works
